Alpharetta and Old Milton County History Museum

Located in Alpharetta City Hall on the Alpharetta History Walk, the Alpharetta and Old Milton County History Museum displays photos, artifacts, and more historical pieces to explain to visitors what life was like in the city’s early days. This museum shows the area’s evolution from Cherokee Indian territory to now becoming known as “The Technology City of the South.” Visitors are able to use the stories kiosk to watch interviews of people sharing their personal experiences about the history of Alpharetta. This museum offers free admission for visitors. Be sure to stop by next time you are in Downtown Alpharetta to learn about how Alpharetta has transformed into the city it is today!
