Dolvin Elementary School Overview

Dolvin Elementary is a public elementary school in Johns Creek, Georgia and serves about 700 students in the North Fulton area. Home to the Dolphins, this school sports blue and white school colors. This school opened its doors in 1979 and is Johns Creek’s oldest school. 

Dolvin Elementary School is named after W. Jasper Dolvin, the principal at Roswell school. Dolvin was married to President Jimmy Carter’s aunt, Emily Dolvin or “Aunt Sissy”. President Carter brought national attention to Dolvin when he dedicated the school in September of 1980.

Academic Summary

Dolvin Elementary School offers the Talented and Gifted (TAG) program and tests its students for eligibility. Also, this school has tutors available to work with students in a variety of different school subjects. 

GreatSchools.org awarded Dolvin Elementary with a 9 out of 10 overall school rating and a perfect 10 out of 10 rating for student test scores.
