Bailey-Johnson School & Community Exhibit

Visit the Community Gallery at Alpharetta’s City Hall to view the Bailey-Johnson School & Community Exhibit from February 10 – April 18, 2025.
This exhibition includes historical photographs from Alpharetta’s Archival Photo Collection about the community surrounding the Bailey-Johnson School. This is the first school built to serve black students in this area around the 1950s and 1960s.
Families from North Fulton County sent their children to this school, which created a close community supporting students.
This event is hosted by the City of Alpharetta and the Alpharetta and Old Milton County Historical Society.
