About Fowler Park
Fowler Park is a multi-use park in Cumming, GA that consists of 85 acres of fields, trails, and many other indoor and outdoor amenities. The location of this park is unique because it sits just north of Fulton County and Alpharetta in Forsyth County off of GA-9 and Castleberry Road. Fowler Park also offers visitors with direct access to the Big Creek Greenway. Residents of both Fulton and Forsyth counties can enjoy the amenities of this park with plenty of space to share!
From playing pickup basketball, walking your dog, enjoying pickleball, or having picnics in one of the 5 pavilions, there are a variety of activities to choose from at this park. Fowler park is also close to The Collection at Forsyth if you’re looking for a meal after your workout.

The walking trail is paved and stretches about 1.5 miles through wooded areas. This path offers visitors with scenic views and a great way to get some excercise! Located near the entrance of Fowler Park, the two playgrounds are equipped with slides, swings, and a variey of climbing structures. These play areas offer plenty of space for children to have fun and find new friends in the area.
Fowler Dog Park
The dog park in Fowler Park is located near the athletic fields and the recreation center. This open dog park features separate play areas for small and large dogs. In each play area, Fowler Dog Park has shaded areas and benches for dog owners.
The dog park is open from 6:00 AM – 9:30 PM from March to October and 6:00 AM – 7:00 PM from November to February. For more information about Fowler Dog Park, please call Fowler Park at (770) 781-2215.
Recreation Center
The Fowler Park Recreation Center offers two indoor basketball courts, a fitness center, a community room, and an indoor walking track surrounding the basketball courts. Visitors can rent the community room and basketball courts for birthdays and other special occasions.
The recreation center in Fowler Park also includes dance and fitness studios. Restrooms and showers are available near the entrance of the recreation center.
