Alliance Academy for Innovation Overview

Alliance Academy for Innovation is a public high school in Cumming, Georgia that focuses on student career development. This high school opened in 2018 and became the first career-focused high school in Forsyth County. Alliance Academy serves over 1,000 students with diverse backgrounds and ethnic groups.  

Many students at Alliance Academy participate in student programs and honor societies. Some popular student groups include the National English Honor Society, Technology Student Association, DECA, and the Spanish National Honor Society. 

Academic Summary

Alliance Academy for Innovation (AAI) offers a few different “schools” or pathway choices: Aerospace Technology, Digital Intelligence, International Business, Healthcare & Public Safety, Hospitality & Design, and Robotics. 

This high school offers 25 Advanced Placement (AP) courses both the core and pathway curriculums. Students at AAI took 1,345 AP exams with about 74% of students recording scores of a 3 or higher.

Alliance Academy for Innovation not only ranks among the top schools in Georgia, but also one of the top high schools in the United States. According to US News, Alliance Academy ranks 143rd on their list of top high schools in the United States. Furthermore, US News placed AAI as the 3rd best high school in Georgia.
