The location of this park is unique because it sits just north of Fulton County and Alpharetta in Forsyth County off of GA-9 and Castleberry Road. Residents of both Fulton and Forsyth counties can enjoy the amenities of this park with plenty of space to share! Also, Fowler park is also close to The Collection at Forsyth if you’re looking for a meal after your workout. From playing pickup basketball, walking your dog, enjoying pickleball, or having picnics in one of the 5 pavilions, you are sure to find something to enjoy at Fowler Park. 

Big Creek Greenway Access

Dog Park

The dog park in Fowler Park is located near the athletic fields and the recreation center. This open dog park features separate play areas for small and large dogs. In each play area, Fowler Dog Park has shaded areas and benches for dog owners.

The dog park is open from 6:00 AM – 9:30 PM from March to October and 6:00 AM – 7:00 PM from November to February. For more information about Fowler Dog Park, please call Fowler Park at (770) 781-2215.

Fowler Park Recreation Center

The centerpiece of the park is the magnificent Fowler Park Recreation Center, a modern 46,000-square-foot facility that provides year-round opportunities for fitness and fun. This indoor hub offers a vast array of amenities, making it a premier destination regardless of the weather. Inside, visitors will find two full-sized gymnasiums constantly bustling with activity, from basketball and volleyball games to pickleball matches. There is also an open community room available for events. Visitors can rent the community room and basketball courts for birthdays and other special occasions.

The Fowler Park recreation center also offers a fully equipped fitness center that includes a wide range of cardio and weight-training equipment. Also, the facility offers an upstairs indoor track that provides a climate-controlled environment for walking and jogging. The recreation center also includes dance and aerobics studios and multi-purpose classrooms that host a variety of programs, classes, and community events throughout the year.

The walking trail is paved and stretches about 1.5 miles through wooded areas. This path offers visitors with scenic views and a great way to get some excercise! Located near the entrance of Fowler Park, the two playgrounds are equipped with slides, swings, and a variey of climbing structures. These play areas offer plenty of space for children to have fun and find new friends in the area.
