Midway Elementary School Overview

Midway Elementary School is a public elementary school in the Forsyth County School District and is located in Alpharetta, Georgia. This school opened its doors in 1961 and resulted from Bethelview and Brandywine schools combining into one. Midway Elementary serves about 900 students with diverse backgrounds and ethnicities. Home to the Mustangs, Midway features blue and yellow school colors. 

This elementary school is committed to help all students become strong in Mind, Body, and Spirit. 

Academic Summary

Midway Elementary provides a variety of learning programs to accommodate the different learning speeds of its students. These programs include the Gifted Education Program, Early Intervention Program (EIP), and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL).

This elementary school has received many awards since its inception. The school has been named a Georgia School of Excellence, numerous State of Georgia awards for academic achievement, and many other honors for school excellence. 

GreatSchools.org awarded Midway Elementary School with a perfect 10 out of 10 rating for student test scores.
