Cambridge High School Overview
Cambridge High School is a public school in the Fulton County School System and opened its doors in August of 2012. Cambridge consists of about 1,700 students and serves the Alpharetta, Milton and northwestern Atlanta suburb communities. Known as the Cambridge Bears, this high school sports Carolina blue, navy blue, and white as its school colors.
Cambridge encourages its students to pursue new hobbies or values by offering 70 clubs and service organizations for students to join. The school also offers 25 different sports teams with several teams winning regional awards and qualifying for state playoffs. Last year, Cambridge ranked as the second best overall AAAAA program in the state as the boys finished fourth and girls finished first.

Academic Summary
Cambridge High School continues to be recognized as one of the top public high schools in Georgia due to the wide range of specialty programs and high standardized test scores. US News ranked Cambridge High School as the 24th best public high school in Georgia and 6th among high schools in Fulton County.
Cambridge offers 32 Advanced Placement (AP) courses with both core curriculum courses like AP Chemistry and elective courses like AP Art History. There are also 24 Honors courses in the English, Math, Science, and World Language fields.
860 out of 1,788 Cambridge High School students participated in AP courses, with about 83% of students scoring a 3 or higher on AP exams. Also, the mean of Cambridge students’ SAT scores in 2024 were 572 in Math and 593 for Evidence-Based Reading and Writing (EBRW). For comparison, the mean for SAT scores in Georgia for 2024 were 503 in Math and 527 for EBRW.
