About Bell Memorial Park

Bell Memorial Park is an active-use park in Milton Georgia, a short drive from Alpharetta. The park is located off Thompson Road near White Columns Country Club. Bell Memorial Park provides residents and visitors with a great place to stay active and interact with others! The park offers youth athletic programs including baseball, boys and girls lacrosse, football, and pétanque.

Bell Memorial Park is also home to the Mark Law Arboretum, named after Milton’s first arborist who passed away in early 2019. Mark Law worked for Milton since its inception in 2006 and made many contributions to the city’s appearance. Law enhanced the look of roundabouts in the city and even helped design the first gateway displays in Milton.

Phase 1 of Mark Law Arboretum opened in February 2019 and featured a variety of plants including American Elm, Persian Ironwood, and many more. The following year, Milton introduced Phase 2 of Mark Law Arboretum, which brought White Oak, Yellowwood, Smoke Tree, and more plants to the park.

Bell Memorial Park Amenities

This park in Milton, GA features two multipurpose turf fields, 5 baseball fields, and 10 batting cages! Also, there is a 1 mile perimeter loop trail that stetches around the park. About half of the trail is paved, while the other half is a natural surface that can be more difficult for trail goers. There are restrooms and concessions available in the middle of Bell Memorial Park near the playground. There is also a picnic pavilion located between the two multipurpose fields.
