Wills Park Pool
The Wills Park pool is one of the community favorites during summers in Alpharetta. The pool area features a zero-depth entry pool, two diving boards, interactive play stations, a 10-lane competition pool, a water slide and more! Located in Downtown Alpharetta, the Wills Park pool now offers season pool passes to skip the admission lines and enjoy free events exclusive to those with the pass. The park offers a family pass which costs $200 for residents and $300 for non-residents and individual passes that cost $90 for residents and $135 for non-residents. The family pass covers 4 family members with each additional family member costing $35.
The Alpha Loop
Enjoy the sunny weather by walking or biking on the Alpha Loop! The trail stretches 8 miles and can be used for both exercise and quicker access to some of the major Alpharetta attractions including Downtown Alpharetta, Avalon, the North Point district, and the Big Creek Greenway. The Alpha Loop has 12-foot wide paths, giving the community more space on the trail to be active and enjoy the nature of Alpharetta. Due to the heat, be sure to bring extra water and dry clothes before you take your trip to the Alpha Loop!
Family Fun at Cogburn Road Park
Cogburn Road Park offers plenty of family fun and is located off Cogburn Road near North Main Street. The park includes various kids activities including a large playground, a Play Me Again piano, and a Little Free Library! The park includes a .2 mile walking path, perfect for biking, walking, and staying active with your family. After getting some exercise, your family can relax and enjoy a meal brought from home on the open green space or in one of the two pavilions. Cogburn Road Park offers a variety of fun activities for every member of your family to enjoy!
Webb Bridge Dog Park
Allow your dog to enjoy the nice weather with a trip to the Webb Bridge Dog Park! There are separate sections for small and large dogs to play, so be sure to pick which one suits your dog. Both of the play areas have room for about 30 dogs at a time. Each section includes water fountains and shaded areas to ensure you and your dog are protected from the heat. During your trip, your dog can enjoy off-leash play and potentially meet new friends!
Alpharetta’s Arboretums
Alpharetta has four arboretums including Cogburn Road Park Arboretum, Brooke Street Park Arboretum, Wills Park Arboretum, and Webb Bridge Park Arboretum. Each arboretum features its own mixture of native and non-native plant species of Georgia. When taking your trip to Wills Park, be sure to stop by the Alpharetta Community Garden next to the recreation center. The Alpharetta Community Garden is an organic garden that allows volunteer gardeners to visit the garden and learn more about gardening from each other.
