About Chattahoochee Nature Center
The Chattahoochee Nature Center is a 127-acre education center just a short drive from Alpharetta in Roswell, GA that teaches visitors about the surrounding nature. This award-winning preserve offers 6 wooded hiking trails that feature an ADA-compliant River Boardwalk Trail covering and a plethora of wildlife with year-round bird-watching opportunities. You can also enjoy an educational experience with a canoeing guide. Here you can learn about the rehabilitation efforts of native wildlife and horticulture of endangered native plant species.
More opportunities to learn about the native land and wildlife of Roswell can be found in the Chattahoochee Nature Center Discovery Center near Bulloch Hall. This facility hosts a wide array of interactive exhibits and a local artist gallery about the land and wildlife. There is also a Nature Store where you can find toys, clothing, field guides, souvenirs, and more! All proceeds support the Chattahoochee Nature Center educational programs and continued conservational efforts.
